DRC: presentation of an application to facilitate access to information for entrepreneurs

Kinshasa, September 30th, 2025 (CPA).– The Meet’eka mobile application was presented to the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and SME Development as a digital solution designed to support entrepreneurs in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in accessing economic information and financing, the CPA learned on Tuesday from an administrative source. ‘This mobile application facilitates access to information related to economic development, financing and collaboration opportunities.

It also includes a feature called taxation, which provides real-time information on tax obligations,’ said Blaise Mposo, the application’s creator. ‘This platform will also offer entrepreneurs the opportunity to attend training courses and events that could strengthen their initiatives,’ he added.

Meet’eka, he continued, is a one-stop digital shop enabling economic operators to obtain the information they need to develop their businesses in real time. This digital innovation, Mr Mposo noted, could contribute to the formalization of activities and job creation, if it receives government support and backing from financial institutions. The initiative, he said, is part of a broader desire to transform the obstacles faced by entrepreneurs into opportunities for growth.

In its presentation document, the founding team emphasized its commitment, which is based on a passion for entrepreneurship and for the economic and social development of the DRC, believing that technology can play a key role in building an inclusive and prosperous entrepreneurial ecosystem.
