DRC: the Congolese entrepreneurs urged to learn about the opportunities offered by AI

Kinshasa, October 25th, 2026 (CPA).- The Congolese entrepreneurs have been urged to learn about the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence (AI), during a forum dedicated to entrepreneurship and innovation held in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). “Get trained and be thorough, because artificial intelligence (AI) can become a true partner for Congolese entrepreneurs. But without training or professional rigour, its potential risks remaining untapped,” Felix Malu, a trainer and consultant in generative and agent-based AI has declared.

Speaking to Congolese entrepreneurs, innovators and students, he has explained how agent-based AI can contribute to administrative and budgetary management, as well as to business development, by carrying out certain tasks and providing results in real time. “However, access to this technology remains a challenge in the country. Inadequate electricity supply, difficulties in connecting to the internet and, above all, limited access to data are major obstacles, particularly for young entrepreneurs in the hinterland,” he has added. He has also emphasised that AI offers new opportunities for entrepreneurs, but that training and discipline remain crucial for building sustainable and successful businesses.
