Kinshasa, July 27th , 2026 (CPA).- The Daring Club Motema Pembe (DCMP) of Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), has announced on Monday in a press release that it would resume training sessions for the 2026–2027 season on Tuesday at Cardinal Malula Stadium, in the municipality of Kinshasa, to the north of the capital. “The Daring Club Motema Pembe (DCMP) will officially resume training this Tuesday, July 28th , 2026, at 12.00 pm, at Cardinal Malula Stadium, located in the municipality of Kinshasa,” It is read.
According to the statement, this first session will mark the start of a new chapter for the Untouchables. It will see the appointment of a new coaching staff led by Daoula Lupemba, assisted by Germain Mbiyavanga, a former player for this green-and-white Kinshasa club. According to the source, on this occasion, the board of co-founders, the executive committee and several club officials will be introduced to mark the start of the 2026–2027 seasons.
To this end, all supporters of the green and whites are also invited to turn out in large numbers this Tuesday at the Cardinal Malula Stadium to show their support for the team and the new coaching staff. It should be noted that, following a prolonged crisis linked to disputes with the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) over outstanding payments to its former players and coaches, the capital’s green-and-white club has finally cleared all its debts.
The team has now been granted permission to make transfers for the 2026–2027 seasons. This is good news for DCMP, which had been relegated to the second division (Ligue 2) with 13 points, following a 24-point deduction, during the regular season of 31st National football league championship (Ligue 1). It should be noted that DC Motema Pembe is currently being managed by a provisional committee, set up last Saturday by the club’s co-founder, Jonas Mukamba, to act as an interim body ahead of the forthcoming elections.
