Kinshasa, May 5th, 2026 (CPA) – Jeunesse Montante de Kinshasa (JMK) defeated AC Normands 2-0 on Tuesday at the Académie Les Aigles du Congo ground in Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), on Matchday 35 of Group B of the Kinshasa Provincial Football League (EPFKIN).
The first half was balanced but slightly dominated by JMK, who managed to assert their superiority with an early goal scored by Mpwate Makanda (7th minute). The first half ended 1-0 in favour of JMK. After the break, despite several chances on both sides, the score remained unchanged until JMK sealed the victory with a penalty converted by Etumbe Kwetukudila (89th minute). This win moves JMK into 2nd place in the standings with 62 points from 35 matches, including 18 wins, 8 defeats and 9 draws, while AC Normands remain on 44 points from the same number of matches.
Saint Étienne edged by IC Kalamu (0-1)
In another Group B match played at the same venue, RC Saint Étienne narrowly lost 0-1 to IC Kalamu (ICK) in the Kinshasa Provincial Championship (EPFKIN). The only goal of the match was scored by Emanue Kifua (90th minute, penalty). With this defeat, RC Saint Étienne remain on 42 points, while IC Kalamu now have 47 points after 35 matches.
Kratos beat PJSK (2-0)
Earlier, AC Kratos defeated AS PJSK 2-0 on Tuesday at the Académie Les Aigles du Congo ground in Kalamu, south of Kinshasa, in Matchday 35 of Group B of EPFKIN. Kratos’ two goals were scored by Lufaya Komba (7th minute) and Mbuela Paka (77th minute).
Afedick stronger than Baki (1-0)
In another Group B fixture played at the same venue, Afedick defeated RC Baki 1-0. Tusevana Kana scored the only goal of the match in the 55th minute.
