Gungu, June 10th, 2026 (CPA).- Supervisors and examination center heads have been urged to foster a conducive environment for the smooth conduct of the National Test for the Selection and Orientation of Students (TENASOP) for 8th-grade pupils (end of the basic education cycle/second year of secondary school), scheduled for June 11th and 12th, 2026, during a working session held Wednesday in an educational district of Gungu Territory, in southwestern Democratic Republic of the Congo. “We have urged supervisors and heads of examination centers in Gungu, Mukedi and Kilembe, within the Kwilu 3 Educational Province, Gungu Territory, to ensure a favorable atmosphere for the successful administration of the National Test for Selection and School and Professional Orientation (TENASOP) in their respective centers, so that candidates may sit the examinations with confidence and serenity,” declared Luc Kumeso, Provincial Supervisor.

He added: “You are serving the Congolese State not to harass pupils and their parents, but rather to help the nation achieve its noble objective of ensuring quality education for children, who represent the future of the country.” The Provincial Supervisor also took the opportunity to insist on strict compliance with the examination fees established by the provincial authorities before calling for the observance of preventive health measures at a time when the country is facing an Ebola outbreak affecting three provinces in the eastern part of the country.
