Haut-Uele: business operators called upon to submit their requirements for inclusion in the budget

Isiro, October 13th, 2026 (CPA).- On Tuesday, economic operators were called upon to submit their specifications for inclusion in the draft budget of Haut-Uele province, in the north-east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), for the 2027 financial year, during the Crisis Council of the Federation of Congolese Enterprises.

“I also invite you to cooperate fully with the provincial government in the best interests of the province. We are currently in the budget session, so I urge you to submit your specifications and review your requests at the territorial and sectorallevels, so that they can be included in the provincial budget. Economic operators must be supported,” has said Jean Bakomito, Governor of Haut-Uele Province.

He reminded the participants – members of this Chamber of Commerce – of the need to adhere to the weight limits specified by the authorities on the province’s various roads and bridges, in order to ensure the long-term sustainability of this road infrastructure.

Mr Bakomito called on participants to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity.

“Security is everyone’s responsibility; we also need your involvement. We also remind you to support the development initiatives being carried out across the province in line with the vision of the Head of State, Felix Tshisekedi,” he has said.
