Kinshasa, December 14th, 2025 (CPA). – A space for women to speak out has been set up to denounce misogyny, harassment and violence against women in the Democratic Republic of Congo, we have learned on Sunday from the visionary. ‘Coup de gueule de la femme’ (Women’s Outcry) is an open forum, unfiltered and uncompromising. It is a space where women’s voices are liberated, confronted, sometimes disturbing, but always enlightening. It denounces misogyny, harassment, violence, discrimination and imposed silence,‘ has declared Kikina Mungul Diaka, visionary of the ’Coup de gueule de la femme » platform. ‘It is a cry, but above all a vision, that of a world where women no longer have to justify their existence, success, leadership or dreams. It also celebrates women’s resilience, intelligence, audacity and ability to transform society,’ she has added. According to Ms Mungul Diaka, who is also the general director of Lynxpro International, a company whose social department is strongly committed to combating gender-based violence (GBV) and actively supporting women’s causes, the ‘Coup de gueule de la femme’ platform is not about gratuitous anger. It is a conscious voice, a structured fight and an invitation to build a more just future together. « Misogyny, harassment, discrimination, violence, stifling customs, rigid traditions, patriarchy disguised as the norm, imposed silence and inherited fear: all these words are, in reality, just bricks in the same wall. A wall erected in front of women’s dreams. A wall that we have been taught to circumvent, never to tear down. But here is the secret that is often forgotten: no wall can withstand united voices for long, » she has said. « When a woman speaks, she is barely listened to. When women speak together, history falters. So let’s speak up, let’s shout if we have to. Let us write, denounce, share, because together, our voices will bring down this wall, » she has added. Ms Mungul Diaka has explained that ‘Coup de gueule de la femme’ continues to be a small piece of wisdom today that will become a great promise for tomorrow, because when women speak, society moves forward.
