Kinshasa, June 10th, 2026 (CPA).- A tripartite training workshop for Congolese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) has been launched in Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), according to a statement consulted on Tuesday by CPA. The National Export Promotion Agency (ANAPEX), in partnership with Equity BCDC and DHL, officially launched on Monday a training workshop aimed at strengthening the capacities of SMEs and facilitating their access to international markets. Scheduled from June 8th to 11th, 2026 in Kinshasa, the session brings together an initial cohort of 35 SMEs mainly operating in coffee, cocoa, spices, fruits and vegetables. The training aims to equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to meet national, regional and international market requirements. During the opening ceremony, ANAPEX Director-General Mike Tambwe welcomed the participating entrepreneurs, experts and partners, urging them to fully benefit from the opportunity for learning and exchange. “This training provides a privileged framework to acquire practical knowledge, discuss challenges in international trade and develop strategies for accessing new markets,” he said, in the presence of Equity BCDC Deputy CEO Hugues Efole and DHL Acting Director-General Sylvain Mwandulo.
On the first day, Samuel Bachunge, ANAPEX Director of Export Promotion, presented the agency’s key missions, highlighting efforts to diversify export offerings, strengthen market intelligence, and support economic operators in identifying business opportunities. Through this strategic partnership with Equity BCDC and DHL, ANAPEX reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Congolese SMEs in their internationalization process, improving access to financial and logistics services, and promoting Congolese products abroad. This initiative is part of the national drive for economic diversification and export potential enhancement, with a focus on competitiveness and the promotion of the “Made in DRC” label.
