Kinshasa: the young people encouraged to believe in their ability to develop projects

Kinshasa, August 31st, 2025 (CPA).- The young people have been encouraged on Saturday by a trainer to believe in their ability to develop projects to ensure  their economic and social fulfilment in Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), during entrepreneurial activities organised  by the « JIF Foundation ». ‘You must be the first to believe in your project to ensure its development by being the first financier of your business, your company. Don’t spend all your time chasing competitions, forums and conferences to seek funding for your projects. If you believe in yourself so much, if you believe in your projects, you will ensure your development,’ has declared Joel Lamika, entrepreneurship trainer.

He has specified during these entrepreneurial activities organised on the theme of « breaking the cycle of qualifications and unemployment: innovate, undertake and transform », that “How much have you already invested in your project? Don’t ask others to take risks that you have not taken for your business. Be the first partners your business needs ». According to him, a manager is someone who is able to take the calculated risks. Not the risks like everyone else, but the calculated and measured risks. He has also called on young people to make a choice before starting a business. Joel Lamika has furthermore called on young people to present and sell their projects whenever an opportunity to meet with the partners arises. CPA/
