Kinshasa, July 27th , 2026 (CPA).- The third edition of the Congolese Entrepreneurs Fair is scheduled for August 5th –6th in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), to promote entrepreneurship, the CPA learned Monday from the organizer.
“We are organizing the third edition of the Congolese Entrepreneurs Fair from August 5th to 6th in Kinshasa, with the goal of promoting Congolese entrepreneurship and encouraging investment in DRC,” has said Linda Kabombo, founder of the Congolese Entrepreneurs Fair. “This is an opportunity to promote Congolese entrepreneurial initiatives, foster partnerships between entrepreneurs and investors, encourage innovation and startups, mobilize the Congolese diaspora around the country’s economic development, and create a space for dialogue between the private sector and institutions,” she has added. Ms. Kabombo explained that this third edition is particularly special because it will conclude with an Entrepreneurs’ Gala on August 8th . This prestigious event will celebrate entrepreneurial initiatives with the presentation of the Congolese Entrepreneur Awards and the announcement of the Fair’s Top 10 Startups.
“The Expo aims to become a leading national and international platform dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, and investment in DRC,” she she added.
In addition, the founder of this trade show—who is also the founder of the magazine “Ici et Ailleurs”—announced that over the course of two days, there will be conferences and panel discussions, hands-on workshops, an exhibition area, and B2B meetings.
“Through this initiative, the magazine *Ici & Ailleurs* aims to create a dynamic ecosystem that fosters connections between entrepreneurs, investors, institutions, and the Congolese diaspora,” she has concluded. The Congolese Entrepreneurs’ Fair was launched on January 12th , 2019, in Dallas, United States of America, and mobilized the Congolese diaspora around economic opportunities in DRC. The second edition was held in Kinshasa from August 6th to 7th , 2025, with increased participation from entrepreneurs, experts, and investors in conferences and professional meetings, it is recalled.
