Kongo Central: 19 graduates proclaimed at a higher education institution in Kasangulu

Kasangulu, September 6th, 2026 (CPA). – Nineteen (19) graduates were proclaimed at the end of the degree conferral ceremony and the closing of the 2025–2026 academic year, held at a higher education institution in Kasangulu, in Kongo Central province (south-west of the Democratic Republic of the Congo), CPA has learnt on Sunday from a university source.

“You are the first cohort of graduates from the Higher Institute of Commerce (ISC) in Kasangulu; as such, you are called upon to put the skills you have acquired during your studies to good use in order to meet the region’s socio-economic needs – particularly in terms of employment – and to contribute to its development,” has declared Professor Albert Luyinduiladio, General Director of the institution.  “It is a source of great joy on this day as we celebrate the first academic degree conferment ceremony at the Kasangulu Higher Institute of Commerce since its establishment. We have reaped the first ripe fruits of our efforts,” he has added.

The 19 graduates, from the Bachelor’s-Master’s-PhD (LMD) system, have graduated in three fields of study: four in marketing, six in management information systems and nine in accounting and finance. On this occasion, ISC/Kasangulu has also announced the opening of enrolment for the 2026–2027 academic year across several degree programmes organised in accordance with the Bachelor’s-Master’s-Doctorate (LMD) system, taking particular account of the needs and opportunities of the labour market. This first intake marks an important milestone in the history of ISC/Kasangulu and, according to the institution’s management, represents the culmination of efforts dedicated to providing university education for young people in Kasangulu.
