Kwilu: 27 huts destroyed by the bush fire in Bulungu

Kikwit, August 3^rd, 2025 (CPA).- 27 huts have been destroyed by the bush fires on Saturday in the village of Misimbi, Kwenge sector, Bulungu territory at 7 kilometres from Lusanga in Kwilu, south-west of the Democratic Republic of Congo, CPAhas learned from local sources. « Twenty-seven huts have been destroyed on Saturday by a the bush fire in our village of Misimbi during the day, when most of the population was busy in the forest. The fire has also caused the loss of various agricultural products and other goods, » has declared Gilbert Pengi, a resident of the village.
