Linafoot: Céleste crushes Bukavu Dawa (5-0) in Group B

Kinshasa, October 30th, 2025 (CPA).- Céleste de Mbandaka from Equateur, in the north-west of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), crushed Bukavu Dawa from Bukavu, in the east of the country, on Thursday at Tata Raphaël in Kinshasa, on the third day of Group B of the National Football League (Linafoot) championship. After a scoreless first half, Céleste of Mbandaka’s goals were scored thanks to a hat trick by Benny Namboka (46th, 48th and 55th) and a double by Bashele (62nd, 64th). With this result, Céleste moved up the table with 6 points from three games.  As for Bukavu Dawa, this is their third consecutive defeat since the start of the championship, including two forfeits against AC Rangers and DC Motema Pembe, leaving them with 0 points from three games played.

OC Renaissance and New Jak cancel each other out (0-0)

In the second match, at the same venue, OC Renaissance du Congo and New Jak, two teams from Kinshasa, the country’s capital, cancelled each other out with a goalless draw. New Jak won their first match by default on the first day and beat Dcmp (2-1) on the second day.  With this goalless draw, New Jak has accumulated 7 points in three matches, while OC Renaissance du Congo has 2 points for the same number of matches.
