Mining Türkiye: the Congolese government reaffirms its commitment to promoting transparent management

Kinshasa, April 14^th, 2026 (CPA) – The government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, through the Mining Cadastre, has reaffirmed its commitment to promote a transparent management, during the 12^th edition of Mining Türkiye, held from April 8th to 12th, 2026, in Istanbul, Turkey, on the digitalisation and governance of the mining sector, according to a press release consulted on Tuesday by CPA. “The Mining Cadastre (CAMI) has taken part in the 12^th edition of Mining Türkiye, held from April 8^th to 12^th, 2026 in Istanbul; one of the largest mining events in the Eurasian region. Through this participation, the Mining Cadastre reaffirms its commitment to promote transparent, modern and efficient management, whilst strengthening international partnerships in the service of the sector’s sustainable development,” it is read. ‎‎According to the document, the institution, represented by Mr Jacques Muyumba, Deputy General Director, has conveyed the vision of the Mining Cadastre of the Democratic Republic of the Congo during technical, institutional and strategic discussions.  ‎Indeed, this major event was dedicated to mining technologies, exploration, equipment and innovative solutions. This event has brought together hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of professionals from around the world.
