Paris praises efforts made by Washington and Tehran to reach an agreement

Kinshasa, June 1^st, 2026 (CPA). – The French President has praised on Monday the determined efforts made by the United States and Iran to reach an agreement, which represents a unique opportunity to build a new security framework, international media have reported. “I praise the determined efforts that Donald Trump is making to reach an agreement quickly, which represents a unique opportunity to build a new security framework involving all the concerned actors, ” has declared Emmanuel Macron, the French President. The French Head of State has assured the availability of his country to provide its expertise and capabilities to the imminent broader negotiations, particularly on the nuclear aspect of an agreement. “We are also prepared to provide our expertise and capabilities to the broader negotiations that are due to begin, in particular on the nuclear aspect of an agreement,” he has added.
