Tshikapa, May 28th, 2026 (CPA).- The Spanish ambassador is expected to arrive in the province of Kasai, in the centre of the Democratic Republic of Congo, by June 20th for a strategic partnership and twinning agreement aiming to promote cultural, economic and social exchanges, it is learned on Thursday from an official source. “The provincial governor, Crispin Mukendi, has announced in his statement that the Spanish ambassador will arrive in Tshikapa, at the invitation of the province of Kasai, from June 20th, to sign a partnership and twinning agreement between the two parties,” has said Bazin Pembe, provincial Minister in charge of Communication and spokesperson for the provincial government.
Furthermore, he has added that the province of Kasai is also preparing to receive an American delegation as part of another partnership. “The governor has informed members of the provincial government of the arrival of an American delegation as part of a partnership with the province of Kasai,” he has added.
