New Minister of Rural Development pledges to improve the well-being of the population

Kinshasa, April 13th, 2021 (CPA).- Mr. François Rubota Masumbuko, appointed Minister of State and Minister in charge of Rural Development in the Sama Lukonde government, has made a commitment to work for the well-being of the Congolese population , Monday during his intervention to the local press captured the same day in Kinshasa.

The new boss of Rural Development said he was aware of the current situation of the country and the population and promised to deploy to make things change.

He also thanked the Head of State as well as the Prime Minister for the choice made on his person. « I must sincerely take this opportunity to thank the Head of State, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, for the confidence he has just placed in me, by accepting that I be part of this government of sacred union », he said in essence.

According to him, the time has come to put an end to the sad reality lived daily in the DRC, namely that of having a rich country but with an extremely poor population. “I’ve been in politics for 15 years, and it is since 2006 that I have resolutely committed to making my significant contribution to the country and there you have it, the spell has just been cast.

I am a man of rural development; we are all convinced of the problems our country has been going through since independence until today. We are all aware of this situation, ”said Mr. Rubota.

To this end, he indicated that he is working together with the Congolese people to make efforts to get the country out of this situation in order to allow the Congolese people to smile again socially and economically.
