The establishment of a cold room for fishermen is of concern to the Minister of Fisheries and Livestock

Kinshasa June 19th, 2021 (CPA).- The Minister of Fisheries and Livestock, Adrien Bokele Djema, expressed concern about the establishment of a cold room, in favor of the fishermen of Kinkole in the municipality of N ‘ Sele, in Kinshasa for the conservation of fish.

Mr. Adrien Bokele Djema said this during a visit to assess the activities of fishermen he carried out Thursday in this part of the capital, said a document from the said ministry received Friday at the CPA.

According to this source, the minister’s visit consisted of inquiring into the concerns that sinners face, as part of the vision of the President of the Republic Felix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo which is summed up by improving the living conditions of the population and poverty reduction and malnutrition.

Minister Bokele reassured the fishermen to follow up within the government for the implementation of this project which will meet the food needs of the populations and contribute to local production.

Regarding the construction of a port for fishing on the Kinkole sites, Minister Bokele also indicated that a team of land surveyors is hard at work for the delimitation of the land in anticipation. of the erection of this port. ACP/
