Advocacy for medication assistance for the population of South Kivu

Kinshasa, August 7th, 2021 (CPA).– The Minister of Vocational Training and Trades (FPM), Antoinette Kipulu Kabenga pleaded with the government to assist the population of South Kivu in medicines, in his video conference intervention on health in Goma, at the Council of Ministers chaired by the Head of State Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, Friday in Kinshasa.

According to Minister Antoinette Kipulu, who spent a day in South Kivu as part of the official launch of the out-of-session test of the national professional end-of-studies exam, more than 545 cases contaminated by the coronavirus pandemic and 4, 3% mortality is well confirmed.

“This plea is part of saving human lives in this part of the DRC. given, in addition to the province of South Kivu, the provinces of Lualaba, Haut-Katanga and North Kivu are also seriously affected by Covid-09, ”she said.

Before leaving for Goma where she is continuing her official mission, Minister Antoinette Kipulu handed over a government donation containing pharmaceuticals, kits and protective materials against Covid-19 to the governor of South Kivu, Théo Ngwabidje; in favor of of the population of his province, it is recalled.
