Kinshasa, August 7th, 2021 (CPA) .- The Minister of Primary, Secondary and Technical Education (EPST), Prof. Tony Mwaba presented, on Friday, to the secondary finalists, 2019-2020 edition, of State diplomas, during of a ceremony organized at the Provincial Main Inspection of South Kivu 1, in the commune of Ibanda in Bukavu.
« It is true that this surrender comes late, it is an unfortunate situation but we will fight so that in the coming years, we may be able at the end of each school year at the time of the proclamation to surrender at the same time, the report cards, the certificate for the end of the primary cycle and the State diploma. This is one of the aspects of the recovery that we are in the process of undertaking in our sub-sector. We will never forget the free education which is non-negotiable « , said the Minister of EPST, adding: » The will of the Head of State Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo and that of the Head of Government is that these diplomas be delivered without conditionality”.
The ceremony took place in the presence of the provincial governor, Théo Ngwabidje Kasi, the secretary general of EPST, Christine Nepa Nepa, the provincial minister of EPST, Geneviève Mukumbi and the principal provincial inspector, as well as of the Provincial Director of South Kivu.
Shortly before the official graduation ceremony, Minister Tony Mwaba accompanied by the Governor of the Province, Théo Ngwabidje Kasi had made a round in some centers for the National End of Primary Studies Test (TENAFEP), including Hodari and the EP IBanda 1.
EPST Minister Tony Mwaba thanked the Head of State, Félix Tshisekedi, who has placed at the center of his program, free education throughout the Democratic Republic of Congo.
For his part, the governor of South Kivu supported the non-negotiable nature of free education, before pleading with the Minister of EPST so that all heads of establishments who try to violate this salutary measure of the President of the Republic is severely sanctioned. ACP/
