Catholic approved schools promise to support the Minister of EPST in his reform program

Kinshasa, May 23th, 2021 (CPA) .– The National Coordinator of Catholic Convention Schools, Father Noël Ntungu promised, on Saturday, to support the Minister of Primary, Secondary and Technical Education (EPST), Professor Tony Mwaba Kazadi in his reform program at the EPST, after a hearing he granted him in his office in the commune of Gombe. Professor Tony Mwaba, who received the support of the National Coordination of Catholic Convention Schools, was also encouraged the same day by a group of trade unionists of EPST teachers, to materialize the vision of the President of the Republic, Félix Tshisekedi Tshilombo, consisting in consolidating free education and breaking with antivalues ​​within the school administration with a view to achieving quality education and improving the socio-professional conditions of teachers. In addition, the General Inspectorate of Finance, in correspondence, congratulated the new management team of the EPST for all the measures taken to clean up the education sector in the DRC. She also encouraged in the same correspondence the Minister of EPST, Prof. Tony Mwaba Kazadi and his Deputy Minister, Aminata Namasia, to maintain this momentum in order to consolidate free basic education in the DRC.
