Pope Francis urges Christians to pray for residents of Goma

Kinshasa, May 23^th, 2021 (CPA).- Pope Francis urges Christians and men of good will to pray for the inhabitants of Goma, forced to leave their living environment following the eruption of the Nyirangongo volcano, during the celebration of the great solemnity of Pentecost which he presided over Sunday, in Vatican City, learned the CPA the same day at CENCO. The DRC occupies a safe place in the pontificate of Pope Francis who had expressed the desire to visit it in 2021 but prevented by the Covid-19 pandemic.
