The mission of the “Strategic watch unit” of the Presidency mentioned to the Prime Minister’s office

Kinshasa, June 5th, 2021 (CPA).- The Prime Minister, Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde Kyenge, and the Coordinator of the “Strategic Intelligence Unit” of the Presidency of the Republic, François Mwamba, met on Friday at the Prime Minister’s office , on the mission of this Unit focused on monitoring and evaluating the execution of the Government’s Program. According to François Mwamba, this working session was part of the monitoring and evaluation of the execution of the said program, which is the mission of this structure attached to the Presidency of the Republic. He said he was happy, he and his delegation, to have this working session with the one in charge of implementing the Government’s Agenda. « Our missions consist essentially in monitoring, evaluating and making proposals to the Head of State regarding the implementation of his commitments which are stipulated in the government program », he declared, before underlining that they monitor the implementation of its commitments, assess their level of execution and finally make proposals to improve this ”. According to Coordinator Mwamba, this first working session with the Prime Minister therefore consisted of examining how they will collaborate in the best interests of the Congolese population. “When we talk about the commitments of the President of the Republic, it is not a personal matter. These are commitments made to improve the living conditions of the Congolese. We came to see the Prime Minister to agree on how to collaborate. We agreed on a roadmap that we are going to implement, ”he concluded.
