A ten-day moratorium granted to economic operators of Mwene Ditu

Mwene Ditu, May 29th, 2021 (CPA).– The provincial minister in charge of the economy, finance, industries, small and medium-sized enterprises and crafts Timothée Tshite Lukombe has just granted a ten-day moratorium to economic operators in the railway town of Mwene Ditu in order to enable them to comply with the law. This moratorium is granted at the request of taxable persons, before the launch of the campaign for the forced collection of taxes, duties and other rights retroceded to the province in accordance with the tax procedure in the DRC.

The minister calls on those concerned to pay freely to allow the province to mobilize more revenue in order to have the means of its policy in order to meet the development challenge of Lomami province. The Fédération des entreprises du Congo (FEC), section of Mwene Ditu, urges member economic operators to freely discharge their duties vis-à-vis the tax authorities. ACP/Fng/nig
