Bulungu health professionals strike

Kikwit, June 12th, 2021 (CPA).- Health professionals, especially nurses and others, have started a three-day dry strike in state health structures since Wednesday.

According to some strikers, this measure was taken by the inter union of nurses of Congo from Kinshasa, to demand that the Congolese state pay the risk premium to all nurses, as well as the payment of a salary decent to the latter to enable them to improve their social conditions.

After three days without a solution, they will consider other legal procedures to be able to defend their causes. The permanence in the hospitals is ensured by the doctors who seem to be overwhelmed by the events. ACP/
