Mbuji-Mayi, May 29th, 2021 (CPA).- Albert Kabasela Tshikunza has just been appointed director of the cabinet of the governor of the province of Kasai Oriental, following a provincial decree on his appointment signed by Ms. Jeannette Longa Muswamba, interim governor of this DRC entity. In this document, a copy of which reached the CPA on Friday, the provincial authority motivated this decision by the imperative need to harmonize and revitalize its cabinet, in order to make it more efficient in supporting the mission of the provincial executive.
In fact, the provincial governor ousted by the provincial assembly, Jean Maweja Muteba had, last March, signed a series of provincial decrees releasing certain members of his cabinet from their functions and appointing new leaders but who did not had not entered into force for their execution.
