The women of Mwene Ditu in prayer to support the Head of State, the FARDC and the police

Mwene Ditu, May 29th, 2021 (CPA).- A mass of intercession accompanied by intense prayers on behalf of the Head of State Felix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, the Armed Forces of the DRC and the Congolese National Police engaged in the fight against insecurity in the provinces of North Kivu and Ituri, was organized last Thursday in the cathedral of the Catholic parish of Saint-Louis of Katoka, on the initiative of the mayor of Mwene Ditu Fidelie Kabinda Mutonji. The officiant of the day, Father Justin Mutombo called for assistance to the union of prayers in order to accompany the valiant soldiers of the FARDC and the police determined to preserve the integrity of the national territory and to restore peace to the ‘East of the country.

The urban authority, Mrs. Fidelie Kabinda Mutonji paid a commendable tribute to the Head of State, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and the Police, for having declared a state of siege in the East in the aim to rout the enemies of the fatherland. She declared that her entity is united as one man behind the Head of State to whom the population reiterates its support. ACP/Fng/nig
