Traffic becomes easy again in Bukavu after the return of the « Gomatrachians » who fled the perverse effects of the Nyiragongo volcano

Bukavu, June 19th, 2021 (CPA).- Traffic on the roads of the city of Bukavu is becoming more and more fluid after the return of displaced people from Goma who fled the volcanic eruption of Nyiragongo on May 22, noted the CPA.

On the P.E. Lumumba Boulevard in the municipality of Ibanda, more precisely on the Nyawera-Feu Rouge-Independence Square axis, unlike the last three weeks when traffic jams were monsters, vehicles have been moving there easily in recent days.

This resumption of normal traffic in Bukavu results from the return of displaced persons from GOMA to their town of origin, after having settled in Bukavu with their vehicles, it is recalled. ACP/
