56th Congo Football Cup: Albino qualifies at the expense of Vutuka (3-0)

Kinshasa, June 12th, 2021 (CPA).- Albino de Kisantu, in the province of central Kongo, qualified at the expense of AS Vutuka of Kikwit (province of Kwilu) on the score of 3-0, Friday at the stadium of the Martyrs of Pentecost, in a match of the 56th Congo Cup football.

During the first period, which ended in a white draw, nothing predicted Albino’s final victory as Vutuka had a semblance of ascendancy over his opponent. On resumption, the meeting takes another turn favorable to the club of Kongo Central, which prints a more offensive rhythm and finds the net thanks to Boka Samba « Aguëro » (57th) for the opening of the scoring.

Christian Dianzambi (61st) follows in Boka’s footsteps and doubles the bet without Vutuka realizing and understanding anything. As there is not two without three, Boka Samba (80th) returns to the charge and definitively sinks Vutuka who is sinking body and goods.

With this success, Albino is qualified for the rest of the competition and will meet the winner of the match Babeti ya Sika (Mbandaka) -System (Kinshasa).

Albino in support of Albinos

Albino de Kisantu is owned by Dr Jean Ndundu Luwawu, witness to the victory of his foals. According to Dr Jean Ndundu, Albino, which has been around for ten years, rivals the top clubs in the Kongo Central province. His concern is to one day climb to Ligue 2 in the national championship, before considering access to the Ligue 1 championship.

When asked about the reasons for the attribution of the name Albino to his team, he justified himself by saying: “My name is Ndundu although I have black skin. Ndundu simply means Albinos in French. But in English, it’s Albino. I was a fan of the late Adios Mwimba Texas for all the efforts he never ceased to make for albinos. And I wanted to meet him because I wanted to do like him in the supervision of his fellows. I will never have this opportunity, especially since death took it to the afterlife ”.

Winner of Babeti ya Sika (2-0), System next opponent of Albino

The FC System of the municipality of Matete will have as next opponent Albino de Kisantu in the next round of the final phase of the 56th Cup of Congo football.

Club affiliated to the Kinshasa Provincial Agreement (EPFKIN), System ensured its survival in this competition after its success against AS Babeti ya Sika (ASB) from Mbandaka (Equateur province) by 2-0, Friday at the Martyrs of Pentecost stadium.

A double from Omango Limboro (40th, 85th) sealed the qualifying victory of the Bana Ekanga. Babeti ya Sika missed a penalty (38th).

The referee invalidated one goal from each of the two teams for a contentious position.
