Maniema Union-Mazembe: the Ravens still believe in the LINAFOOT title

Kinshasa, June 12th, 2021 (CPA).- TP Mazembe of Lubumbashi still believes in the title at the end of the 26th championship of the National Football League (LINAFOOT) and seriously prepares its last meeting against AS Maniema Union of Kindu, on Tuesday June 15 at the Joseph Kabila stadium, in Kindu.

« Playing in the next Champions League or even dreaming of the title, TPM has not lost any hope, anything is possible. On June 15, a hypothetical meeting with Maniema Union awaits the Ravens in Kindu. With the absence of two international goalkeepers and four other players, Pamphile Mihayo is busy every day in Kamalondo, « tpmazembe.com reported.

Mazembe notes, however, that the organizer of the L1 championship had promised « in a letter to TPM, to schedule the trip of Kindu taking into account the truce » following the FIFA window (International Federation of Association Football). This constitutes, for Mazembe, a denial on the part of LINAFOOT, which knows that the black and white club has ceded more than five players to several national teams, in particular its two goalkeepers Sylvain Gbohou (Ivory Coast) and Mounkoro ( Mali).

“Maniema Union-Mazembe, there will be a 90-minute game to play. For Pamphile Mihayo’s men, who are preparing quite calmly with a single goalkeeper, Aimé Bakula, the most important thing will be to play this match well, ”notes the Lubumbashi club’s website.

For the Lushois Ravens, who remain calm, everything is still possible, the objective being to win the Kindu match against Maniema Union and to await resolutions on the disputes still present on the table of Linafoot and FECOFA (Federation Congolese football association). They « have to have this decisive game in mind, which is why in practice they identify the ingredients they are going to put in to win. Every day, the technical staff works on tactics, instills confidence, sets the tone for the game and the determination to finish in style, ”notes the site.

Regarding the Maniema Union-Mazembe match, the player Isaac Tshibangu is sharp: “It will be an important match because, we have to get the place in the Champions League and not stop the dream of the title; in the event of a turnaround on a file that Vita Club may lose with the affiliation of one of its players, all cards will be redistributed.

My teammates and I also follow the news. In view of the current situation, we absolutely need victory to ensure the Champions League. In Kindu, we have always been up to the task, we will rely on past confrontations to do things well. We must be ready in order to conquer Kindu. «  ACP/
