Kinshasa,  October 29th, 2025 (CPA).- A price adjustment for various types of cloth has been observed in the markets of Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), following the depreciation of the US dollar, CPA has noted during a tour.

« It is true that the depreciation of the dollar has created many complications for certain items or goods, but for us, cloth merchants, we do not have too many problems related to this situation. However, there has been a price adjustment for different types of African entire. The inzulukable model was selling for FC 12,000 and is now priced at FC 9,000, the English Wax model was priced at FC 22,000 and is now priced at FC 18,000, and the Hollantex model used to cost 32,000 CFA francs and is now priced at 26,000 CFA francs, » has declared Ms Iderle Fukenu, an African entire seller in Lemba.

She has pointed out that the model commonly known as demi super used to cost FC 35,000, but now costs FC 28,000, while wax, which used to sell for FC 40,000, now costs FC 33,000. ‘The grand super model African entire, which previously cost FC 84,000, now costs FC 68,000,’ she has added. ‘We sell according to the bank rate.
