Kinshasa, June 24th, 2026 (CPA).- A reporting and complaint management mechanism relating to violations of subcontracting regulations has been established in Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), by the regulatory authority for the private sector, according to a statement consulted by CPA on Wednesday. “As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen transparency and governance in the subcontracting sector, the Regulatory Authority for Subcontracting in the Private Sector (ARSP) informs all stakeholders, particularly principal companies, of the establishment of a reporting and complaint management mechanism,” the statement read. According to the source, the mechanism enables any stakeholder to confidentially report conduct that violates existing regulations, applicable ethical standards, or the public service mission entrusted to the ARSP.
The initiative forms part of a preventive good-governance approach aimed at preserving the quality of relations between the Authority and its partners. Any complaint or report, accompanied by available supporting evidence, may be submitted by electronic mail to the institution, the statement specified. Reports may also be submitted anonymously. Each complaint will be handled confidentially and, where necessary, appropriate action will be taken in strict compliance with applicable regulations, the rights of the persons concerned and existing legal provisions. “Any individual proven to have engaged in inappropriate conduct contrary to procedural and integrity standards will be sanctioned,” the statement added.
The ARSP General Directorate reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and the fight against corruption in all its forms, in line with the vision of President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi, which seeks to make Congolese entrepreneurship a powerful driver of economic growth and national economic sovereignty, the source recalled.
