the Reparation Fund (Fonarev) has been signed to raise awareness of the plight of victims of conflict in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), according to the X account consulted on Saturday by the CPA.
‘Today, I am proud to announce my collaboration with the Conflict Victims Reparation Fund (Fonarev) to raise the voices of our brothers and sisters who are victims of conflict,’ read the X account of artist Innocent Didace Balume, alias Innoss’B.
According to Fonarev, these artistic and cultural projects can help commemorate the victims, raise public awareness and contribute to healing and rebuilding society. It should be noted that Innocent Didace Balume, known as Innoss’B, who was born on 5 May 1997 in Goma, is a Congolese singer, rapper, dancer and singer-songwriter, considered to be the pioneer of the Afrocongo musical genre, a fusion of Congolese rumba, Ndombolo and African musical folklore. Artists such as Gims, Dadju, Moïse Mbiye, Youssoupha, and Singuila have participated in solidarity events supported by Fonarev, using their voices to denounce atrocities and call for peace. Fonarev (Fund for the Reparation of Victims of Conflict) in the DRC encourages partnerships with artists and architects for the creation of memorial spaces. These partnerships aim to use art and culture to commemorate victims, raise public awareness of conflicts, and promote peace. ACP/
