Kinshasa, July 20th, 2025 (CPA) . – Farmers from the Tshuenge community Centre, located in the municipality of Masina, east of Kinshasa, (capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo) received training on Saturday in entrepreneurship from the Cooperation of Farmers and Market Gardeners of Congo (Copefemac), supported by the National Agency for the Development of Congolese Entrepreneurship (Anadec), according to a statement consulted on Sunday by the CPA.
‘From July 16th to 19th, 2025, the Tshuenge Community Centre, located in the commune of Masina, was the scene of a dynamic training course focused on “Agricultural techniques and practices, microfinance, financial education and entrepreneurship”,’ the statement said. The statement specified that this training was funded by Anadec as part of its approach to promoting the module on agricultural entrepreneurship.
During the certificate award ceremony, Mathieu Tshibumbu, acting director of Anadec, highlighted the agency’s mission while praising the progress made by farmers, but also the challenges they face. ‘I hope that everyone will formalize their activities so that they can become part of the millionaires sought for development in accordance with the vision of Head of State Félix Tshisekedi, who advocates sustainable development based on local resources,’ he said. Regarding the damage caused by the rising waters of the Tshuenge River, which affected some fields, Mr Tshibumbu assured them of the involvement of the relevant authorities. ‘A project to dredge the river and rebuild the dyke is already being considered to prevent future disasters,’ he said.
