Linafoot: Saint Luc Defeats Panda B52 (2-0) in Group A

Kinshasa, February 26th, 2026 (CPA). – AS Saint Luc of Kananga defeated US Panda B52 of Likasi 2-0 on Thursday at the Stade des Jeunes in Kananga, Kasaï-Central province, during the 23rd matchday of Group A of the National Football League (Linafoot). In this 31st edition of the national championship, Saint Luc accomplished its mission against Panda B52 from Haut-Katanga province. The first half was balanced, though slightly dominated by the visitors, who failed to convert their clear chances. The teams went into the break with a goalless draw. After halftime, backed by home support, Saint Luc broke the deadlock through Nathan Tangala in the 68th minute before Aguy Botamba sealed the victory in the 89th minute. With this success, AS Saint Luc moves up to 8th place in the provisional standings with 29 points in 22 matches, while US Panda B52 remains with 13 points from 22 outings. Jonathan Longema was named Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.

Tshinkunku and New Soger Share Points (1-1)

In the other Group A fixture played at the same venue, US Tshinkunku of Kananga and New Soger of Lubumbashi settled for a 1-1 draw. New Soger opened the scoring through Seke Mankanzu in the 20th minute, a lead they maintained until halftime. Upon resumption, Lukubama Mvulutu equalized in the 47th minute for Tshinkunku. The two sides ultimately shared the spoils, each earning one point. Tshinkunku now has 28 points from 22 matches, while New Soger has accumulated 26 points in the same number of games.
