Lodja, October 7th, 2026 (CPA).- Activities marking the customer service week of a public institution under the contributory scheme have been launched in Lodja Territory, Sankuru Province, central Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), CPA learned Wednesday from an administrative source.
“The customer service week is devoted to explaining to the population and public servants the objectives assigned to the National Social Security Fund for Public Servants (CNSSAP) and how it operates, so that these employees can prepare to engage with the services of this public institution,” said Youssouf Mukenge, Head of the CNSSAP/Sankuru branch, during the launch. “We therefore pay a vibrant tribute to the President of the Republic and Head of State, Félix Tshisekedi, and to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Service, Jean-Pierre Lihau, for re-launching the activities of this public institution,” he noted.
He continued: “The CNSSAP was established to manage the social security of public servants and protect their families, within a framework provided for by the laws and regulations.
It provides protection at every stage of a public servant’s life, including during retirement, in cases of incapacity and for survivors, notably through pensions for recognized physical incapacity, pensions for eligible survivors following the death of the insured, occupational risks and family benefits.” It should be noted that the activity began with a march involving employees and members of the public, starting from the CNSSAP office and ending at the territorial administration office.
