Kinshasa, May 26th, 2025 ( CPA) – 1,500,000 doses of the vaccine ‘LC16m8’ are expected on May 29th, 2025 in Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo to fight against Mpox (monkey pox), according to a press release from the Ministry in charge of Public Health, Hygiene and Social Welfare, consulted on Monday.

According to the source, a confirmed case of Mpox was detected at the point of entry (PoE) of the Luano International Airport, in the province of Haut-Katanga, in the south-east of the country.
