Kinshasa, April 21nd, 2021 (CPA).- The platform of agricultural entrepreneurs of Congo (PEAC), is organizing a forum on green entrepreneurship on Saturday April 24th in Kinshasa, ACP learned from the organizers on Wednesday.
According to the organizers, this forum, whose theme is centered on: « Green entrepreneurship, a factor of sustainable development and job creation in the agricultural sector in the Democratic Republic of Congo », sets itself the objective of bringing together the various agricultural stakeholders. Congolese, with a view to exchanging views on the difficulties of agricultural entrepreneurship and proposing relevant strategies to remedy them in the short, medium and long terms.
For the organizers of this forum, green entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector should be considered as one of the essential solutions against unemployment, hunger and problems related to the environment in DRC, a country which has 80,000,000 million hectares of arable land, barely 10% of which is used at a time when agriculture should be one of the pillars on which DRC should rely to raise its economy.
