Prime Minister Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde returns to Kinshasa from some SADC countries

Kinshasa, Friday June 12th, 2021 (CPA).– Prime Minister Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde returned to Kinshasa on Thursday, in the evening after his diplomatic and economic tour in various member countries of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) as part of the contacts for the support of the candidacy of the DRC for the post of Executive Secretary of SADC.

“We have just returned from a mission entrusted to us by the Head of State Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo. We were successively in Botswana to transmit a message from the Head of State accompanied by correspondence to his counterpart and did the same in the Kingdom of Eswatini as well as in Malawi ”, declared the Congolese chief executive. when he got off the plane at N’Djili airport.

« This mission is in line with the needs for the Democratic Republic of Congo, to mark its presence at the level of SADC », he said, signaling that it will continue with him or other actors than the Head of State will designate not only at the SADC level but also at the level of the African Union (AU).

The Prime Minister was accompanied in this mission by the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of Foreign Affairs Christophe Lutundula Apala as well as the national coordinator of the monitoring mechanism of the Addis Ababa peace and security agreement. ACP/
