Comforting visit by Prime Minister Sama Lukonde to Professor Kilembe’s widow

Kinshasa, June 12th, 2021 (CPA).- Prime Minister Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde made a comfort visit on Thursday evening to the family residence of the widow of Professor Kilembe Manzanza, who died on June 1 at the Ngaliema Clinic in Kinshasa.

According to the Prime Minister, it is a compassionate visit to the whole grieving family of the illustrious disappeared who has rendered enormous service in the formation of the Congolese intellectual cream.

Previously, the priests of the diocese of Popokabaka concelebrated a suffrage mass in memory of the illustrious deceased in the presence of the great chief Kiamfu Pelende Nord (his nephew), as well as his suite, politicians and clinic staff. Ngaliema.

In his homily, the interim parish priest at the Holy Family Cathedral parish of Popokabaka, Paul Manzanza, who presided over this Eucharist inspired by Paul’s epistles to the Corinthians, indicated that death is a necessary step for everyone and that we do not must not make too many problems around this reality.

Regarding the professional life of Professor Adolphe Kilembe Manzanza, the interim parish priest Paul Manzanza said that the profession of the illustrious disappeared was a profession of charity consisting in saving human lives, which according to him, is an act of love towards others.

« This is what he committed to and this is what he has been able to do all his life as a Christian, » he added.

Several testimonies were given on Professor Adolphe Kilembe, including that of the Barister Matadi Wamba who offered his condolences to the great chief Pelende, while praising the services rendered by Professor Kilembe to the Congolese nation.

He revealed that the deceased spent much of his time accompanying students in several provinces of the country including Kinshasa and Kwango, further recalling that he was a dedicated doctor in the service of his patients.

Other activities to commemorate the death of this professor will continue at the University of Kinshasa (UNIKIN), it is indicated.

Brief biography of Professor Adolphe Kilembe

Adolphe Kilembe Manzanza was born in Kenge territory in Kwango province on December 31st, 1944. After his homologated diploma in Greco-Latin humanities at the Albert 1 College in Kinshasa, currently Boboto, in 1966, he subsequently obtained a candidacy diploma in natural and medical sciences from the University of Lovanium in 1969.

Adolphe Kilemebe continued his studies to obtain a doctorate degree in Medicine, Surgery and Childbirth at the Kinshasa Campus, National University of Zaire (UNAZA) in 1973, before specializing in Anesthesia-Resuscitation at the Kinshasa Campus.

The professor doctor has, moreover, published several works among others, his thesis in Anesthesia-Resuscitation.

He is also author and co-author of several scientific publications and Member, and moderator of several national and international scientific congresses including the moderator of congresses and telemedicine with Indian medical staff. ACP/
