Mbujimayi, May 29th, 2021 (CPA).- Boniface Kapena Bwambe, is appointed provincial minister of mines, following a provincial decree issued by Ms. Jeannette Longa Muswamba, interim governor of the province of Kasai Oriental. The head of the provincial executive justifies, in this decree, the taking of this decision by urgency by considering the imperative need to harmonize and revitalize the functioning of the provincial government in order to increase its effectiveness.
According to this document, the new Minister Boniface Kapena is appointed to these functions with the mission of ensuring good governance in the mining sector and making it an essential tool for the development of the province. Boniface Kapena Bwambe returns to the post he held within this provincial executive in August 2019, before being appointed, three months later, executive secretary of the provincial government of Kasai Oriental, until this new appointment.
