Mbuji-Mayi, June 13th, 2021 (CPA).- The interim governor of Kasai-Oriental, Jeannette Longa Muswamba, during a visit last Thursday to the central prison of Mbuji-Mayi, deplored the state that presents the cracked fence wall of this rehabilitation house.
Faced with this deplorable situation, the head of the provincial executive is committed to finding an urgent solution through her rehabilitation in order to prevent possible cases of escape of detainees, including highway robbers.
The provincial authority was led in this visit by the director of this prison, José Ntumba, who presented other difficulties facing the central prison of Kasai Oriental for its proper functioning.
Ten solar street lights were given, on this occasion, to the director of the prison by the interim governor of Kasai Oriental for the need of the cause, it is reported. ACP/
