Kinshasa, September 1st, 2026 (CPA).- Certificates have been awarded to participants in a training course on the manufacture of various products in Kimbanseke, in the east of Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), with a view to promote women’s integration into the labour market, during a ceremony on Tuesday.
“I have the honor of awarding certificates to our 230 graduates, who have benefited from vocational training thanks to the Gaborian Kumeza Mboma (GKM) Foundation in collaboration with the dynamic Divana Kipangu (DKM). The aim of this training was to strengthen their professional skills and promote their socio-economic integration,” has declared Gaborian Mboma, the initiator of the training programme. He has explained that the participants have been trained in several areas, notably the manufacture of household products.
“We want to offer unemployed women and young people better prospects that can help them in the job market,” he has added. For Mr Mboma, this initiative is part of a commitment to contribute to skills development and the empowerment of young people, unemployed women and beneficiaries. He has praised the participants’ commitment and diligence, whilst encouraging them to put the knowledge and skills acquired during the programme into practice. He has also called on the beneficiaries to make the most of the skills they had acquired and for each of them to contribute, in their own field, to the development of their community. The event has brought together the heads of the two foundations, the trainers, partners and the training beneficiaries. The beneficiaries have handed over a donation of detergents to Mr Mboma as a token of appreciation. The ceremony was concluded with discussions between the participants, trainers and partners.
