Ngaba municipality and Evreux city sign a cooperation charter

Kinshasa, April 13th, 2021 (CPA) – Ngaba municipality will soon benefit from many development projects, particularly in the sanitation field, following the signing, on Saturday, of a cooperation charter between this municipality from Kinshasa and Evreux city, in the presence of the governor of Kinshasa city, Gentiny Ngobila Mbaka.

In his remarks accompanying the signing of this charter, the governor of Kinshasa city reassured that this charter will make Ngaba municipality strong through various development projects from which it will benefit: “From now on, there will be close exchanges between Kinshasa city and Evreux city, gateway to Normandy through this charter”, he said, specifying that Ngaba municipality will develop and this contract is aimed more at the sanitation sector, before to express its gratitude to the mayor of Evreux, Guy le Franc, but also to all those who worked tirelessly for the realization of this memorandum of understanding in record time.

The governor of Kinshasa city urged the population of Ngaba to imbibe their vision of « Kinshasa-bopeto », in order to succeed in this twinning. Also, he announced his measure to ban the production and use of plastic bags, while recalling the harmful effects of this product on the environment and the lives of Kinshasa, namely floods and erosion.

The head of the provincial executive took the opportunity to hand over a batch of sanitation kits from « Kinshasa Bopeto » to Ngaba municipality, consisting of wheelbarrows, axes, brooms and boots and others.

Note, moreover, that this approach was undertaken by Mr. Stéphane Mbaki, a Congolese of origin residing in France.
