Organization on Sunday of the health caravan for screening for diabetes and high blood pressure in Kinshasa

Kinshasa, May 22^nd, 2021 (CPA). – The NGO « Malaïka international » is organizing on Sunday May 23, 2021 in the parish « Sainte Marie Goreti », in the Kauka district in the commune of Kalamu in Kinshasa, a health caravan for screening for diabetes and of arterial hypertension, announced Friday Dr. Zaïna Kalombo, president and founder of this structure, during an interview Friday with the CPA. According to Dr Kalombo, this health caravan follows the observation that the world in general, and the DRC in particular, is experiencing a high number of metabolic diseases. The health caravan will help the population to know their state of health because it is better to know their state for better care. It should be noted that this health caravan for screening for diabetes and arterial hypertension comes one month after the one held in the municipality of Kimbanseke in collaboration with the non-profit organization « Mas Help ».
