Motema Pembe struggles against JSK 1-0 at LINAFOOT

Kinshasa, April 8th, 2021 (CPA).– DC Motema Pembe struggled against Jeunesse Sportive of Kinshasa by winning by 1-0, on Wednesday at the Martyrs of Pentecost stadium, in a match of the 23rd day of the 26th National Football league championship (LINAFOOT).

The match, very engaged and supported, began with a high pressing from the side of JSK, who played without complacency. Even when she conceded the only goal of the game by Borel Tomandjoto (14th) with a rebound that looked like a counterattack, the colts of Coach Jean-Claude Makanda Nzola continued to push relentlessly. They even equalized by Diego Masona (41st), a goal that assistant II did not validate.

After the break, both teams will take the pace of the match to another level. On the one hand, Motema Pembe, who has improved a bit from her last performance, on the other, JSK in top form but a little betrayed by the referee. And the man in the black pants will blow the whistle to award Motema Pembe a penalty (66th). Sidibé Broulaye takes charge of his transformation, but will see his strike blocked by goalkeeper Brudel Efonge Liyongo without any further legal action.

For the rest, the former teammates of Jean Beleke, very motivated, will fight until the last second but without success. Motema Pembe collects the points and totals 33 in 19 matches. Isaac Ngata and his foals have a heavy responsibility to negotiate the last 11 matches well for a soft landing and finish the championship among the top three.

JSK, for his part, has 23 points in his pocket in 23 outings. In the first leg, JSK had imposed a goalless draw against the Green and White. ACP /Kayu/Awa
